Safe Needle Disposal

Some pet medication administration requires the use of needles. Disposal of needles and other sharps varies by state. 

Unused Medication Disposal:

When medications are no longer needed or expired they should be disposed of promptly to avoid accidental ingestion. 

FDA: 

Provides special instructions and direction to dispose properly of expired or unused medications.

Walgreens:

Some Walgreens locations have a disposal kiosk for owners to drop off unused or expired medications easily into.
