As our community has grown, so has our staff, both veterinarians and the people who help us provide veterinary care to a wonderful variety of animals and their owners. For many years we have been privileged to be a part of this community and have cared for commercial accounts and companion animals alike.

   We moved into our current facility in 1992, leaving the Front Street clinic that had been our home since the early 1970’s. Since moving to the Benson Rd. only minor changes have been made to our hospital. For a number of years we have discussed and planned for changes that we are about to undertake and now we’ve reached the point of action.

   In the middle of August, we will be turning over the front half of our building to Scott Van Dalen and Eagle construction to renovate our reception area, laboratory, business offices and conferencing area. A significant part of this change will be adding additional exam rooms and improving our waiting areas. The intent of these changes is to improve customer service through better flow and improved client and patient comfort with an emphasis on patient care.

   The project is already underway as is evidenced by a number of temporary storage containers on the south side of the building. Active work by Eagle Construction will begin in a small way on the 15th of August and become full on by the 22nd of August. We anticipate the project to take three to four months to complete. Once we vacate the front of our building, veterinary care will be accessed via the portable reception and waiting area located in our south parking lot. Needless to say, this will be an adventure for all of us and it is our intent to provide updates and images of the project as it unfolds. 

   We believe this project will allow us to continue providing quality veterinary care to our patients and their owners. We also know it will be a time of some chaos and adjustment. We value you, our clients, and intend to work very hard to minimize any inconvenience and frustration you may feel during this time.
